When we started Luckyscent, the idea was pretty simple. There were incredible fragrances being made by small, independent houses, and almost nobody outside a handful of cities could find them.
Department store counters had the same 20 brands. Online, you were basically on your own. And buying a fragrance you'd never smelled before, off the internet, felt like a gamble most people weren't willing to take.
So we changed that. We were one of the first to offer samples online. Real vials you could actually wear, not paper strips. The thinking was: if you can try it first, the decision gets a lot easier. And a lot more fun.
